Julia Ann Cunningham, 85, of Auburn, formerly of Springfield, died at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Auburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Julia was born on March 18, 1921 in Springfield; the daughter of August and Marie Hribal Wycoff. She married Thomas Cunningham on August 12, 1940; he preceded her in death on April 5, 1982. Julia was a graduate of Feitshans High School. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs Baseball games. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Dorothy Ramshaw and Elsie Stankitis. She is survived by one son, Tom Cunningham of Pawnee; one daughter, Diann (husband, Bill) Hammond of Pawnee; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Private Graveside Ceremonies will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating.
