Julie "Jules" Lynn Roberts, 43, of Golden, CO, passed away at 4:00 p.m. on May 23, 2012 at her residence. Jules was born January 7, 1969 in Belleville, the daughter of Thomas K. Roberts and Marilyn Kate McKinney. Jules was known for being vibrant, caring, compassionate, and full of life. She was in the Air Force Reserve and was a bartender extraordinaire. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, motorcycles and sailing. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Kate Steigerwald, and step-father, Clarke Steigerwald, of Springfield; her father, Thomas Roberts, of Lebanon; two step-sisters and two step-brothers; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
