Words can't describe the hurt I feel. I've lost the one person who loved me unconditionally and knew exactly what I was feeling without saying a word.   Not only did you show strength but courage to me and others even when you were weak.  I will forever miss you Mom!!!  I love you with all my heart!!!!! Xoxo

I will feel you in the morning when the sun warms my skin and the breeze blows through my hair.  I will be close to you in the nature that surrounds me; the animals, plants, and earth that is under my feet.  I will see you in the greens, blues, browns, reds, yellows,  purples, orange, and pinks, all of the colors my eyes perceive.  Seed pods, feathers, rocks, chimes, and the laughter of children will bring you to my mind.  The wonders that I experience throughout my life will remind me of you and your message to cherish life.  The sadness will decrease, but never subside.  At the end of the day, when the sun sets in the sky, I will light a candle for you and think of all the ways that your presence effected my life. I will feel you beside me and remember how you loved to play....  you    were truly an Awe-some sister.  I will never say goodbye to you, NAMASTE'

Tina fought a hard battle with the help of Mark, Mike and April.  April is a very devoted and brave daughter who gave so very much care and love to her Mother. Robin's message is so beautiful I do not think I can add much but to give my Love and wish all of the families peace in their mourning.

When we were at the hospital at the end of Tina's life, I had a moment of insight where everything seemed to become clear, and as often happens to me, this moment went as fast as it came. But it left me with something I would like to share. I was hoping to share it at the celebration of life for Tina but was not able to control myself and I did not want to get up and do nothing but blubber in front of everyone and not get a word out.
When we are born we are handed a gift of life. We immediately start to unwrap it to see what it contains. We find that there are many many discoveries to make and that it will take a lifetime.
This beginning is celebrated with happiness and wonder. What is going to happen, who is this person going to be? We are all given this gift, not to covet and keep to oneself but to share. Tina shared her gift with all she met. And in the end, among all the sadness and heartbreak, she shared her last tear with me. Tina's daughter April asked if I would close Tina's eyes. Wanting to be a good brother and uncle I agreed. I summoned the courage and reached in and closed Tina's eyes, as I did so a tear managed to fall on my hand. At this time the flash of insight occurred and departed leaving me with this simple thought:
When we come into this life there is great joy. When we leave this life there is great sadness but there should also be great joy. Tina has shed her last tear and been given the next great gift.

To the Shearburn and Mcallister families, I am so sorry for your loss. Tina and I were great friends, growing up as kids. The house on 19th street was the place to be. Playing in the basement room with the bars on the windows, we called it our jail.The endless days spent at Fairview park were awesome, it will be something I never forget. Love you Tina, now you can rest at ease.

Mark and family, please except my deepest condolences, I am sorry for your loss.

Tina and Mark accepted me into their home and hearts openly. That is the way Tina was, open and generous! She will be very much missed!

When I think of Tina I always have memories of the times when we were very young and lived in Springfield on 19th street.  We spent a great deal of time at the park by our house together.  Tina was almost always "bouncy flouncy trouncy pouncey, fun fun fun fun fun!  And yes, like Tigger...she was the only one.  
The only one like her.

Tina will be greatly missed.  She was a special person.  She brought a lot of love and laughter into the world.
