She was the daughter of Lloyd Blake James and Pearl Panhorst James. She married Thomas Dwight Taylor and he preceded her in death.
She retired from the Medical Group, where she was a Medical Technician. She was resident of Springfield for most of her life and was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by many good friends including Michael and Kevin Thomas and their families.
Private family graveside services will be held in Oakford Cemetery. Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday Nov. 19, 2014 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
