She was born Aug. 20, 1939 in Vandalia the daughter of Henry Theodore and Henrietta Marie Pope Albert. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Albert, Jr. and a sister, Jean Price.
She was a member of Springfield Seventh Day Adventist Church. She dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce A. Nickel; daughters, Kat Livingstone (husband, Steven) of Sorento, Debra Rutherford (husband, Louis) of Springfield, Marie Ellenburg (husband, Walter) of Springfield and Judy Rutherford (husband, Jim) of Springfield; son, Ronald Lee Gelsinger, Jr. of Lincoln; sister, Glenda Beyes of High Hill, MO., 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday Jan. 29, 2010 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Stanton officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
