Linda Goetz Wagner

She was born on September 27, 1954, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Leo and Dorothy (May) Fehr. Linda married Robert Wagner on September 1, 2016, in Springfield.

Lin, a graduate of Springfield High School, continued her education at William Jewell College before earning her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. Professionally, Linda made significant contributions in the field of energy, serving as the former Principal of Power Marketing at Ameren. She later retired as a Project Manager at City Water, Light & Power. Linda was also an active member of her community, dedicating her time to the Boys & Girls Club. She deeply valued her friendships and cherished time spent with family. Outside of work and community involvement, Linda enjoyed staying active with activities like biking and pickleball, and loved traveling with her husband, Robert.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Wagner of Springfield; daughters, Nicole (Matthew) Eisler of Lake Forest, IL and Kayla Goetz of Paso Robles, CA; five grandchildren, Breslin, Bode, Shiloh, Indie, and another on the way; brother, Ken Fehr of Dayton, OH; sister, Beverly Taylor of Atlanta, GA; four nieces; and one nephew.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Panther Creek Country Club, 3001 Panther Creek Dr., Springfield, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
