Lindsay Michelle Lippa

Lindsay was born on October 7, 1989, in Springfield, the daughter of Carrie (Dorr) Elliott and Jeffrey Lippa.

She graduated from Glenwood High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College. Lindsay had previously worked as an administrative assistant for Illinois Realtors. In addition to spending time with her girls, she enjoyed painting, drawing, and creating floral arrangements.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles, and Elizabeth Lippa; maternal grandfather, Roman P. Dorr, Jr.; uncle, Roman P. Dorr, III; and aunt, Michelle “Mimi” Dorr Power.

She is survived by her mother, Carrie Elliott of Springfield; father, Jeffrey Lippa of Springfield; daughters, Kaelyn and Cataleha Lippa; maternal grandmother, Shirley Dorr; brother, Matthew Lippa; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. Memorial Gathering will begin with a prayer service.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1930 Barberry Dr., Springfield, with The Very Rev. Christopher House, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
