Lisa Marie Bryant Melton

She was born March 23, 1970 in Springfield the daughter of the late Russell L. “Corky” Bryant and Patricia (Coady) Griffith.

Lisa was a homemaker. She also volunteered at the Catholic Charities breadline and helped the homeless.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia (husband Floyd) Griffith of Springfield; 3 brothers, Rodney Hartline of Mechanicsburg, IL, Michael “Pete” Bryant of Springfield, and Russell P. Bryant of Springfield, a half-sister, Teresa (husband Bob) Moreland of Pawnee, IL and several aunts, uncles,nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell L. “Corky” Bryant and her grandparents Tom and Florence Coady and William and Ethel Fishwick.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield.
