

She was born in Springfield, October 4, 1959 the daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Heabel) Adams. She married James Rhodes and he preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Lisa served as assistant chief deputy clerk of the State of Illinois Supreme Court for many years. She had a love for birds and especially hummingbirds. She was fascinated by them. She was very talented in crochet and was an avid reader. Lisa found peace and joy in fishing as the beauty in flowers, her favorite being the Iris. She enjoyed episodes of Judge Judy.
She is survived by her long-time companion and significant other, Jim Jackson, her children: Tammy Kmett, Joshua Adams and Teresa Kahl, her siblings: Charlotte (Harold) Sanderfield, Kathy Milligan, Robert (Linda) Adams, Charles (Marjorie) Adams and Dorothy Adams. She has several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of Bisch and Son Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded and services will be private.
