Loc Xuan Luong, 77, of Springfield, died at 1:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Loc was born January 1, 1940 in Vietnam, the son of Tu Si Luong and Nam Thi Nguyen. He married Thu-Ha Thi Le. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ngoc-Linh Xuan Luong; and brother, Phuoc Xuan Luong. He is survived by his wife, Thu-Ha Thi Le of Springfield; sons, Loi (wife, Dung Pham) Luong of Seattle, WA, Lan (wife, Hien) Luong of Springfield, and Long (wife, Thanh Truc Lo) Luong of St. Louis, MO; daughters, Bich Dao Luong and Truc Dao (husband, Tri Hong Mac) Luong, both of Springfield; nine grandchildren, Titan Do, Ngoc Mac, Truc Mac, Kevin Mac, Sarah Luong, William Luong, Ethan Luong, Edison Luong, and Leona Luong; brother, Thang Luong of Seattle, WA; and sister, Van Luong of Vietnam. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
