She was born on February 2, 1934, in Mason County, IL, the daughter of Lloyd C. and Eva M. (Hill) Losey.
Louella graduated valedictorian from Mason City High School in 1952. She went on to work as an administrative assistant for the IL Dept. of Veterans Affairs, retiring after 34 years of service. Louella was a member of Illinois Toastmistress Club, active member of Third Presbyterian Church, and coordinated weekly senior dinner outings. She enjoyed Hallmark movies, reading romance novels, and working in her yard. She had a love for cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Eva; and brothers, Charles and Robert “Mike”.
Louella is survived by her sons, Thomas Jordan of Peoria and Garret Jordan of Springfield; sister, Wanda Sue Freeman of Pekin; and two sisters-in-law, Diana(Losey) Hayes and Norma K. (Jordan) Tenuto.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Memorial Gathering and Service: Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield, followed by the service at 10:00 a.m. with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mason City Cemetery.
