

Louise M. Egger, 85, of Springfield, passed away at 1:25 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2001 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born October 4, 1916 the daughter of John and Louise Draksler Verbais in Ringo, KS. She married August George Egger, Sr. at St. Aloysius Church on February 15, 1936 and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1992. Mrs. Egger was a member of St. Aloysius Church, and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Jonathan Hull. She is survived by four sons: Auggie (wife, Marilyn) of Springfield, Bob (wife, Su) of Shreveport, LA, James (wife, Celeste) of Des Moines, IA, and Rick (wife, Tina) of Williamsville, IL; four daughters: Louise (husband, Jack) Wilcox of Crossville, TN, Roberta (husband, Robert) Hull, Marilyn (husband, Ron) Hull and Becky (husband, Terry) Moore all of Springfield; two brothers: John Verbais of Alton, IL, Henry Verbais of Springfield, and one sister: Helen Davsko of Sherman; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2001 with a Wake Service at 5 p.m. Concelebrated Funeral Mass will be at St. Aloysius Church on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Titus principal celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Church 2119 N. 21st St., Springfield, IL 62702. The family of Louise M.
