

Lynelle Alvina Falcone, a resident of Chatham for 17 years, formerly of Stickney, IL, took the hand of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 6:34 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at MMC surrounded by her family. She was born August 3, 1944 in Chicago, the daughter of Howard and Lois Townsend Hoehne. After graduating from nursing school, she married Louis Falcone in 1966. Together, they were blessed with three children, Marcello, Michelle, and Michael.She found life�s greatest joys in helping others. She shared her talent with the sewing guild at St. John�s Lutheran Church, Chatham, where she was a member. She encouraged others through her cards and letters of love and care. God�s goodness that she enjoyed included her family, canine friends, cardinal birds, and 1960s showtunes. She was a selfless giver. Her ability to maintain a positive attitude and perservere inspite many of her challenges will forever inspire all that knew her. She was preceeded in death by her parents and by her twin sister, Leana Weston. Surviving are her husband Louis Falcone of Chatham, sons Marcello (wife Laurie) of Lincolnwood, IL, Michael (fiancee Rebecca) of Seattle, WA, daughter Michelle (husband Dave) of Chatham. Grandchildren she leaves behind include Garrett, Audrey, Andrew, Alyssa and Abbey. Survivors in the Chicago area include sister-in-law Geraldine (husband Jim), brother-in-law, George Weston, Las Vegas, NV, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation: Her family will greet friends from 4-7pm, Tuesday, March 26, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham.Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: There will be additional visitation on Wednesday, March 27, from 9am until the time of the services at 10am at St. John�s Lutheran Church, 1225 North Main Street, Chatham, IL, with Rev. Clarence Rogers officiating. Burial following at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to St. John�s Lutheran Church, Chatham.
