

Marilyn was born on July 11, 1939, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Arthur and Elsie (Petty) White. She married William “Bill” Kyle on August 7, 1977, in Springfield. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2010.
Marilyn graduated from Lanphier High School and worked in home health care until 2011. She was a member of Faith Outreach Christian Center in Sherman. Marilyn loved shopping, gardening, watching movies, and eating out at restaurants.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, James and Patrick Szerletich; infant daughter, Regina; infant sister, Sharon JoAnn; and sisters, Helen Micheletta, Barbara Wise, Doris Chandler, and Lorraine Samson.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Brian (Michelle) Kyle of Cantrall, and William (Pamela) Szerletich of Pleasant Plains; daughters-in-law, Kim Szerletich and Belinda Szerletich; five grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Jake, Joey, and Lyndsay Szerletich; five great-grandchildren, Nancy, Grace, Emma, Chloe, and Gracie Szerletich; and sisters, Virginia Richards and Betty Montgomery.
Graveside Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. West, Springfield.
