Mark Craig Burge, 58, of Chatham, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home in Hillsboro. He was born June 1, 1959 in Springfield to Ned J. and Phyllis Casper Burge. His father preceded him in death. He worked for Glazers local 1168. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Marie Burge of Springfield; mother, Phyllis Burge of Chatham; brother, Ned (Denise) Burge III of Chatham; sister, Dianne (Dr. Joseph) Whalen of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; 3 nieces, 1 nephew; 4 great nieces; 2 uncles; several cousins; pet companion, Chloe (a Puggle). His family will greet friends from 10am until the time of the celebration of his life at Noon, Wednesday, December 20, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, IL, 62629, with funeral celebrant, Paula Staab Polk. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
