

She was born in Springfield on December 8, 1927, the daughter of Victor and Anna (Vansacik) Marcy. Mary Jane married Henry W. Krug, Jr., on August 7, 1948.
Mary Jane was dedicated wholeheartedly to her family and cherished spending time with them. She was an avid reader, enjoyed solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and loved watching CNN. Mary Jane was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and prayed her rosary daily.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry W. Krug, Jr.; son, Henry W. Krug III; and brothers, Victor and Robert Marcy.
Mary Jane is survived by her children, Mariann (Dean) Denby of Girard, Michelle “Shelley” (David) Brumme of Springfield, Penny Cooper of Springfield, Therese Krug of Oakdale, MN, James (Dona) Krug of Springfield, Danny (Jayne) Krug of Springfield, Andy (Deanne) Krug of Sherman, and Anna Krug of Cornland; grandchildren, Matt Brumme, Tish Haynes, Henry Krug IV, Mandi Charles, Betsy Krug, Danielle Keldermans, Zach Krug, Russ Krug, Anna Brandon, and Ally Heaton; and great-grandchildren, Aviana, Elena, Crosby, Adelaide, Louisa, Russ Jr., Cecilia, Theo, Emma, Sydney, and William.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Manuel P. Cuizon, celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
