Mary M. Bressan-Sheehan, 90, of Springfield, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at St. John's Hospital. Mary was born on January 18, 1918 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Etalia Nichele Bressan. She graduated from Brown Business School and worked for Western Catholic Newspaper for 28 years. Preceding Mary in death were her parents, husband, and brothers, John, Norbert, and Reno Bressan. She is survived by her siblings, Rena Shaudi and Americo and Joseph Bressan, all of Springfield; several loving nieces and nephews; and a dear family friend, Dora Findley. Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at St. Frances Cabrini, 1020 N. Milton Ave., Springfield, IL 62702. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at St. Frances Cabrini with Rev. Richard L. Chiola, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone attending the ceremony to a luncheon at St. Frances Cabrini following the interment.
