We were saddened to hear about the passing of our friend and neighbor, Mary.  We lived next door to Mary for 9 years in Springfield.  She was such a lovely person and I enjoyed spending time with her.  Our family moved out of state 11 years ago, but I was happy to maintain our friendship over the years through phone calls, cards, and baked goods.  I’ll miss sharing cookies and pumpkin bread with her.  Rest in peace, my friend.

My heart goes out to her family.  I miss our walks and our laughs at dinner.  I will miss Mary but I know she is in a better place.  May she rest in peace.

The Kurt Windisch family has many fond memories of Putt Putt/ Wabash Golf & Games including a few parties we had there! I especially loved to talk to Mary as she shared many good family stories! She talked about her kids a lot, and even though I never met any of you, I feel like I knew you from all her stories! I especially loved to hear her stories of the younger Windisch kid’s shenanigans! May your memories give you comfort & know that she will be forever in our hearts!

Of course, after her lifelong vocation with Putt Putt, she put all her love into her new career as a cookie supplier to family and friends. Her sharp wit and honesty will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss,  Your mother was a great lady.  I never realized that she and  I shared the same birthdate.

One of the best parts of delivering Federal Express for four decades were the wonderful people I met.
Mark, Tracy and family, I think of your Mom every spring when the beautiful iris she shared with me many years ago come into bloom.

I am so sorry to hear about Mary's passing.  She was a wonderful woman and a big part of my life.  

She was as hard of a worker as anyone I knew.  She was very kind and had a great sense of humor.  I was just speaking to someone abouit Putt-Putt yesterday and they were talking about its significance growing up in Jerome.
