

Mary C. Templeton, 83, of Springfield, died at 11:09 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at her home. Mary was born on December 8, 1921 in Thayer the daughter of John and Mary Krehlik Peregrin. She married Raymond L. Templeton on June 10, 1945 in Virden; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1990. Mrs. Templeton was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Little Flower. She was also preceded in death by infant grandson, Louis Flournoy, sister, Ann Camille and brothers, John and Steve Peregrin. She is survived by two daughters: Diane L. Templeton of Springfield and Karen R. (husband, Robert) Flournoy of North Carolina; one grandson: Kortenay Templeton; two granddaughters: Aubree and Laura Flournoy; two brothers: Edward (wife, Elsie) of Divernon and Larry (wife, Dorothy) Peregrin of Virden and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Fr. Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
