

Mary Grace Warmoth 64, formerly of Petersburg, IL joined our Father in Heaven on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She lost her long, arduous battle with MS. Mary was born on November 15, 1948 in Athens, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lois (Lemmons) Wahlsmith and three siblings. She was the only daughter of six children. Surviving are one son Ron Warmoth, his daughter Morgen; three daughters, Beth Dodson, and children Skyler & Spencer, Michele Warmoth and children, Brandon & Ashea, and Jamie & Chris (husband) their sons Blake and Nathan Welch and Mary's two brothers. Mary loved her children and grandchildren zealously. Mary Attended Athens High School and LLCC, she supported the National MS Society, Disabled American Veterans and the APL. She was a Springfield Mass Transit bus driver until her illness prevented her from working in the late 80's. Mary was a very strong, determined woman; her determination and strength were inspiring; she never gave up even with all the adversity of MS. In her most vulnerable state she worried more about others than herself. She enjoyed politics, indoor plants, softball, bowling, music, her pets and wild birds; she was particularly fond of red and white roses. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Ceremony: 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with Pastor Debowey officiating. Her remains will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to: National MS Society, 525 W.
