Mattie I. Millen

She was born May 6, 1913 in Sharon Springs, KS. the daughter of Albert and Mary Augusta Reed. She married Justus T. Millen, Jr. Nov. 21, 1947 in Chicago and he preceded her in death in1984.

Mrs. Millen was a 1935 graduate of Wesley School of Nursing, Witchita, KS. and a 1945 graduate of Loyola University, Chicago with a degree in Public Health Nursing.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Grace Circle, 50+ group and the Ansarettes.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Katherine Fynn of Springfield, OH. and Roberta(husband, Bill) Reif of Springfield; grandsons, Rafferty Fynn and Bruce Reif and granddaughter Katie Fynn.

The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel where friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held Thursday Nov. 1, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church from 9:00 AM until the time of services there at 10:00 AM with Pastor Thomas Christell and Pastor Juli Guy officiating.
