

Michael (Milos) Tintor, 63, of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his home surrounded by family. He was born July 12, 1952, in Chicago, the son of the late Lazar and Efrozyna (Wisniewski) Tintor. He married Ilene Reedy on March 7, 1987, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield. Michael will be greatly missed by his wife, Ilene; son, William Tintor of Albuquerque, NM, sister, Mary (John) Farris of Homewood, IL, and brother, Henry (Sharon) Wisniewski of Grants Pass, OR; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Michael attended Southern Illinois University. He was employed by Bunn-O-Matic as the Manager of Technical Support Services. Michael was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. The Vigil service will be held at 4 P.M. and visitation will follow until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, March 1, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 700 East Spruce Street, Chatham, IL. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, March 2, at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Burial will be at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Bethany, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2141 West White Oak Drive, Springfield, IL 62704 or the American Cancer Society, 675 East Linton Avenue, Springfield, Illinois 62703.
