

He was born on Aug. 18, 1937 in Plainview, TX, the son of the late Clarence Burcham and Evy (Chapman) Burcham. He married Donna Stapleton in Appleton, AR on May 6, 1994 and she survives.
Mr. Burcham was a master electrician for South Conway County School District in Arkansas and previously was owner/operator of B&M Electric in Morrilton, AR. He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Navy. He was the owner of the Arkansas State Horseshoe Pitching Association of Plumerville, AR, sponsored an annual youth fishing derby at his residence in Plumerville, was a member of the American Legion Post 0039 in Morrilton, AR, and the VFW in Conway Co., AR. Mr. Burcham was also a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, AR.
Besides his wife of 19 years, Donna, he is survived by children, Dawn Neuhoff of Riverton, IL, Deana (husband Wes) O’Dell of Springfield, Monty Dale (wife Christy) Burcham of Riverton, Trace (wife Adrian) Burcham of Riverton, Joey (wife Kim) Burcham of Morrilton, AR, stepdaughter Donna Jo (husband Keith) Kyzer of Plumerville, AR, and stepdaughter Angela White of Morrilton, AR, mother of Dawn, Deana, Monty, and Trace, Virginia Paoni of Riverton. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchilden, a brother, and 2 sisters.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, IL where memorial visitation will be held from 5 to time of the memorial service at 6 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. Please join family and friends for a memorial gathering at the Eagle’s Club in Riverton immediately following services.
A memorial gathering will also be held in Monty’s hometown at the Arkansas State Horseshoe Pitching Association of Plumerville, AR on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 starting at 12 Noon.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
