Nancy was born on February 23, 1930 in Springfield, the daughter of Ernest and Virginia Bennett Pelham. She married James A. Phillips on September 3, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri; he preceded her in death in 1992.
Nancy was a 1948 graduate of Springfield High School. She worked in Springfield for 25 years as a medical receptionist.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn Woods (Donald), Susan Phillips, and Katherine Freeland; one son, Joseph Phillips (Diane); two grandchildren, Jennifer Keough Agelidis (Steve) and Madison Phillips; and one great-grandchild, Keaton Fredericks.
Graveside Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1441 Monument Ave., Springfield with The Very Rev. Andy Hook officiating.
