Nancy was born Nov. 16, 1939 in Chicago the daughter of Paul S. and Alice L. Friot Wright. Nancy was well educated having graduated from Lamphier High School, Stetson University in Deland,FL. and Patricia Stephens and Roosevelt University in Chicago. Nancy enjoyed her family, traveling and was an avid reader and animal lover.
She is survived by her sister Sarah (Matthew) Kmett, her brother, Sam (Susan) Wright, nieces, Sheri Harris, Allison Kmett, Winnie Wright, Miranda McLean and nephews Matthew and Paul Kmett.
Friends may call Tuesday Jan. 10, 2012 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of services there at 11:00 AM with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League 1001 Taintor Rd. Springfield, IL. 62702.
