

Natalie Taylor Derstine, 22, of Chatham, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born December 5, 1989 in Lafayette, LA, the daughter of Timothy and Susan Derstine. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Louise Glass Johnson, Dolores Virgie Derstine and Lloyd McCoy Glass. Natalie is survived by her parents, Tim and Susan Derstine; brothers, Seth Derstine of Kansas City, MO; Joel and Jonathan Derstine of Chatham; sister Abbey Derstine of Dallas, TX; grandfather Rev. William Derstine of Pleasant Hill, TN; uncles, Terry (Yvonne) Glass of Franklin, TN; Thomas Glass of Carrollton, TX; Mark (Barb) Derstine of Centerville, VA; Matt (Kathy) Derstine of San Jose, CA; several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Natalie loved photography, music, art and babies. She was a nanny for six children and considered them as her own. Natalie was the recipient of an organ donation in 2006 and became one of its spokeswomen. She received a trip to New York City through the Make-A-Wish Foundation to meet Vera Wang. She attended Greenville College and Lincoln Land Community College. She did an internship for Vera Wang during the summer of 2007.
