Norma Lee Reed, 80, of Canton, GA formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away on November 11, 2014 in Marietta, GA. She was born on November 20, 1933 in Springfield to the late Henry and Katherine Spencer Gathard. Norma married Howard Thomas �Tom� Reed in 1954, and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2001. Mrs. Reed was a graduate of Lanphier High School and was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Reed is survived by her daughter Lori Reed Tilt of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Emma and Ethan Tilt of Canton; brother, Richard Gathard and his wife Anna of Carlinville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial lunch reception celebrating Norma�s life will be held for family and friends at the Hampton Inn & Suites located at 2300 Chuckwagon Drive in Springfield on Monday, November 24 at 11:00 am.
