

Norman was born September 25, 1919 in Berlin, IL the son of Ray Palmer and Mary Ruble Good. He married Dorothy R. Stillman on September 25, 1955.
Norman was a certified Manufacturing Engineer for Fiat-Allis and retired after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Fiat-Allis Management Club and Eagles Aerie #437, and was a former member of the AMVETS and the Elks Club of Springfield.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dorothy R. Good; one daughter Marilyn Good; one step-son, Larry R. Nein; two grandsons, Jeffrey O'Neill and Samuel Wainscott; and one brother, Stanley Good.
He is survived by two sons, Norman (wife, Norma) Good, Jr. of Willow Spring, NC and Marvin R. Good of San Jose, CA; two daughters, Norma (husband, Eugene) Brozio of Decatur and Karen Sale of Raymond; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; two brothers, John R. (wife, Kathy) Good of New Berlin and Daniel V. Good of Springfield; three sisters, Patricia Powers and Gloria (husband, Larry) Smith all of Springfield, and Lila Good of Chicago; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin, IL.
Funeral ceremonies will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Black officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodwreath Cemetery in Island Grove Township.
