Norman Hecht, 72, of Springfield, formerly of Peoria, IL and Datona, FL, died at 7:40 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2004 at Heritage Manor East in Beardstown. Norman was born October 20, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN the son of Emerson Hecht and Esther Hecht-Nall. Mr. Hecht was owner and operater of Antique Salvors and he was a self employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one daughter Carol Barefield of Magnolia, TX; two sons: Randy Hecht of CA and Gary Hecht of TX; half brother: David Nall and companion: Pat Grubb of Springfield.
