Patrick Flynn

Patrick "Pat" Michael Flynn, 54, of Savannah, GA, husband of Lawanda Kaye Johnston Flynn, died Monday evening, April 28, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Born in Springfield, IL, the son of the late John Charles and Margaruite Marie Skoda Flynn. Mr. Flynn was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Pat spent several years with various law enforcement agencies, as well as state social service agencies. At the time of his passing, Pat was employed by the Salvation Army in Savannah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Flynn. Surviving are his wife, Lawanda Kaye Johnston Flynn of Savannah, GA; one son, Wayne Michael Flynn of Savannah, GA; one sister, Marilyn Flynn of Springfield, IL; one brother, John D. Flynn and his wife, Nancy, of Lake St. Louis, MO; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2008 at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Herbert F. Hubbard and Rev. Dwight J. Durbin, officiating. A memorial ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Bible Church in Savannah, GA.
