

Paul was born June 14, 1954 in Alcester, SD, the son of Wesley J. and Bette Drymon Duiker.
Paul graduated from Deerfield High School and was employed as a mechanical draftsman. He also worked in roofing, brick-laying and other construction jobs. He was a member of the Baha’i Faith. He enjoyed collecting marbles and going to flea markets.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley J. Duiker.
He is survived by his mother, Bette Duiker of Springfield; siblings, Kay (husband, Jim) Robbins of Tacoma, WA, Vernon Duiker of Springfield, Timothy Duiker of Tacoma, WA, and Sarah Duiker of Springfield; three nieces, Liane Stearns, Lydia Dallal and Rachel Duiker; two nephews, Jon (wife, Brandy) Trompeter and Wyatt Duiker and; several cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Boardman- Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Avenue West, Springfield.
Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home conducted by the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Springfield.
Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
