

Paul A. Leveque, 42, of Springfield, passed away at 1:36 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2002 at his residence. Paul was born February 10, 1960 the son of James and Florence Jean Newlin Leveque in Springfield. He married Marilyn Mathias June 19, 1999. Paul was a graduate of Springfield High School and he attended Lincoln Land Community College. He was a manager in the home health care field and owner of Que Properties. He was a member of the Springfield Landlord Association and a former member of the Springfield Youth Hockey Association. He was a coach in later years. During his years of playing with the Springfield Kings, they won the Walmar Cup. He also played with the Springfield Capitals. He was a member of the Springfield High School and Lincoln Land Community College golf teams. He was a member of the Church of the Little Flower. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother: Dale C. Leveque. His is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Springfield; mother: Florence J. Leveque of Springfield; two step-sons: Douglas (wife, Mary) Mueller of Decatur, Erick (wife, Julie) Mueller of Peoria; one step-grandson: Michael Jones of Decatur; two brothers: James E. (wife, Judy) Leveque of Melissa, TX, Bruce R. Leveque of Euless, TX; two aunts; one uncle and several nieces,nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2002. Visitation will begin with a wake service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Church of the Little Flower with Fr. Henry Schmidt celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paul A. Leveque to the family for scholarships toward hockey and golf. The family of Paul A.
