She was born on February 13, 1947, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Charles William and Lulu Hazel (Snyder) Ditto. Pauline married Clyde Linn Stevenson on August 29, 1971. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2016.
Pauline graduated from North Vermillion High School in Cayuga, IN, in 1965. She worked for Model Paint & Wallpaper Company in Peoria, IL, before opening her own business, Busy Needles Sewing & Drape Shop, which she ran for over 10 years before working at Nancy’s Hallmark in Bartonville, IL. Pauline was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Pauline is survived by her son, Kevin Linn Stevenson of Springfield, IL.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL.
