Phyllis Hollinshead

Phyllis was born August 15, 1930 to Frank and Susie Blissett Sexton. They preceded her in death. She married Henry R. Hollinshead in Trinity Lutheran Church, October 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Phyllis was a homemaker most of her life. In 2005 her son, Tom and grandson, Tom Jr., opened 1 Stop Auto shop in Sherman. Phyllis volunteered her time from the first day they opened the shop until the fall of 2010 when she became ill.

Phyllis is survived by seven sons; Wendell of Arizona, Henry of Springfield, Tom of Williamsville, Charles “Buddy” of Sherman, Jesse of Missouri, Frank of Springfield, and John of Riverton, 31 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Jane (husband Bob) Rodems of Springfield, Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen where visitation will be on Monday April 4, 2011 from 11:30 am until time of funeral services at 1:30 pm. Rev. Al Sample will officiate. Burial will follow in Fancy Creek Cemetery
