

Priscilla Jane Patrick, 82, of Pine Bluff, AR, formerly of Springfield, received her final call on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. Priscilla was born September 1, 1928 in Eudora, AR, the daughter of the late Daniel Elliott and Georgia Mae (Jefferson) Johnson. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert N. Patrick, affectionately known as "Brother-in-law", who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, John Johnson and sister, Earline Luckett Clay. Priscilla received her early education in the Eudora School District in AR and also attended Lincoln Land Community College. She was employed by the State of Illinois for over 30 years as a case worker for McFarland Mental Health Center. She was a member of the American Legion Post #809 auxiliary, a daughter of the Elks Capital City Temple #818, Town & Country Women's Bowling League and an active participant of the Outdoors Club. Sister Priscilla confessed a hope in Christ at the Highland Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR. After moving to Springfield, she united with the New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Willie J. Crawford. Leaving to cherish her beautiful memories are two brothers, Eliger Johnson of Pine Bluff, AR and Jerrold C. Johnson of Springfield; sister, Lucille Royal of Pine Bluff, AR; step-son, Robert N. Patrick, Jr. of Germany; nephews, Norman Andra Peters, Tarence Earl Johnson, Jerrold Dewayne Johnson and Enrico Johnson; nieces, Peggy Peters Wiley, Cheryl Lynn Johnson, Lisa Annette Johnson, Monique Johnson Howard, Angel Sherice Clemons and Diana Peters, who was not only a devoted niece, but also her caregiver during her failing health. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Second Timothy Baptist Church, 1122 E. Pine St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Dr. Richard B. Maye officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
