R. Diane Wilson

Diane was born April 15, 1950 in Louisiana, MO, the daughter of Robert "Bob" C. and Yueletta Gibbs Bartlett. She married Thomas Wilson on July 22, 1966 at Roanoke Baptist Church in Springfield. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

Diane owned and operated a home day care for over 40 years in New Berlin as well as a beauty shop for nearly 19 years. She baked and decorated cakes for weddings, birthdays, and various other events. She was previously a leader for Girl Scout Troop #144 in New Berlin and was very active in her community and the New Berlin schools. Diane enjoyed flower gardening, decorating for Christmas, and other holidays for everyone's enjoyment. Most of all, she enjoyed talking with everyone about her family, especially her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Bartlett.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Wilson of New Berlin; daughters, Crystal (husband, Brad) Lubrant of Naperville and Dawn Wilson of New Berlin; grandchildren, Jonathon and Jacob Lubrant of Naperville and Wyatt and Dillon Wilson of New Berlin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin.

Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Brosi officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
