Rick L. Standage, 58, of Springfield, passed away at 5:29 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at St. Johns Hospital. Rick was born on September 8, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Arthur Leroy and JoAnn Lena Gasperi Standage. Rick was the owner of Premier Lawn Care and the owner of the Candle Box. He enjoyed drawing, antiquing for Civil War items, and spending time with his family, especially nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, John T. Green, Sr; grandparents, Frank, Sr. and Lily Agnes Gasperi; brother, Mark Standage; and sister, Cathy Standage. He is survived by three sisters, Shari (husband, Jimmie Sr.) Lyons of Springfield, Tanya (husband, Bruce) Michel of Stonington; and Nikki (husband, Terry) Houstoun of Winterhaven, FL; one brother, John (wife, Becca) Green of Pleasant Plains; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. The family will host a Celebration of Life from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Prop Club, 264 Maple Grove Ln., Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rick L. Standage Memorial Fund at his Celebration of Life.
