

Bobby was born on January 31, 1954, in Springfield, the son of Nina Hashman Wanless. He married Deborah Mallow on February 19, 2021, in Springfield.
Bobby was a 1972 graduate of Glenwood High School. He owned and operated Wanless Brothers Moving and Storage in Loves Park, IL. Bobby coached his son and nephew’s baseball team for 6 years. His lifelong passion, however, was golfing, especially with his grandsons. In his spare time, he also enjoyed going to the shooting range, eating fried mushrooms, cooking, drag racing, gifting everyone with his amazing sense of humor, watching Illini games with his wife, and making sure the hummingbird feeders were always full of sugar water.
He was preceded in death by his mother; infant brother, Michael Paul Wanless; and brother, Paul Michael Wanless.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Mallow Wanless; one son, Brandon Wanless; daughter, LeAnne Bedolli and stepdaughter, Kia Mallow; five grandchildren, Derek Stuller, Justice, Aidan, Bella and Maxx Bedolli; two siblings, Barbara Fafoglia and Kathryn (husband, Michael) Calvert; several nieces and nephews; many friends; and beloved three dogs, Lenny, Lexi and Zoey.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham with Pastor Beth Yokley officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
