Robert K. Clark, Sr.

Robert K. Clark Sr., 63 of Springfield, died Thrusday, December 14, 2000 at St John's Hospital. He was born June 8, 1937 in Old Berlin the son of Oscar Clark and Rosalene Inskip Clark. He later married Doris Imogene Brown June 15, 1948 in Springfield. Mr. Clark retired from Truman Flatt and Sons after 37 years of employment. He was a member of the Local 477. He also served in the US Air Force. Robert loved doing mechanical work and loved fishing and camping as well. He is preceded in death by his father and a sister: Shirley Hull. He is survived by his wife: Doris Imogene Brown; two sons: Robert Jr (wife, Jana) Clark of Dawson, Edward (wife, Kara) Clark of Lincoln; a daughter: Shawn (husband, Dale) Ackley of Springfield; two brothers: James Clark of Springfield, David William (Bill) Clark of Springfield; two sisters: Anita Jo Smith of Springfield, Jane Burge of Springfield; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2000 at the funeral home with Stan Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Old Berlin Cemetery.
