Robert "Bobby" Frantz, 64, of Springfield, passed away at 11:14 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Bobby was born December 12, 1945 in Springfield, the son of Harold P. and Ayleen Dobey Frantz, Jr. They preceded him in death. Bobby was formerly employed by the B & G Café. Bobby is survived by his sisters, Sherry (husband, David) Lewis and Pat McCarthy (fiancé, Dennis Poss) all of Springfield; a brother, John (Carolyn) Frantz of Beach Grove, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Graveside ceremonies will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Park with Vaughn Beeman officiating.
