

Robert “Bob” Joseph Klosky, 75, of Springfield, died at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at St. John’s Hospice. Bob was born on March 7, 1930 in Chicago the son of Nellie Waichunas. He married Norma Jean Mendenhall on December 23, 1951 at Westside Christian Church in Springfield. Mr. Klosky graduated from Feitshans High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was in a partnership with Custom Construction for 35 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member and past president of Homebuilders Association, a member of Evening Republican Club and a lifetime member of the Elks Club. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Tony. He is survived by his wife: Norma Jean Klosky of Springfield; daughter: Kathy (husband, Steve) Kuntzi of Springfield; grandchildren: Nick Kuntzi at Clemson University, SC, Brady Kuntzi of Springfield, LCpl Ryan Kuntzi at Camp Lejeune, NC; brother-in-law: Al (wife, Nancy) Mendenhall; step granddaughter: Peg Kuntzi of Springfield one niece: Sue Hall and two nephews: Kevin and Gary Mendenhall. Funeral Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Scott Brindley officiating. Visitation will begin following services until 8:00 p.m. Cremation will be accorded by The Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation.
