Roberta T. Beall, 87, of Springfield, died at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. Roberta was born August 9, 1924 in Arthur, IL the daughter of William and Leonore Ryan Conlin. She married John Beall on June 16, 1951 in Mattoon. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, reading and volunteering. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and one brother. Roberta is survived by her husband; two sons, James Beall of Springfield and David Beall (wife, Paula) of Chester, VA; two grandchildren, Derek and Aaron; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut St., Springfield with Rev.
