Rose Marie Bortolozzo, 81, of Springfield, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, August 09, 2004 at St. John’s Hospice. Rose was born November 27, 1922 in Springfield the daughter of Albert and Maria Lucchini Bortolozzo. Miss Bortolozzo was a past member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She had been employed at Lloyds Cleaners and also had been employed for eighteen years at St. John’s Hospital in the Laundry Dept. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: John Bortolozzo. She is survived by her sister: Nora Bortolozzo and her brother: Albert Bortolozzo both of Springfield, several nieces and nephews and companion: Sam Madonia of Springfield and her good friend: Janice Estes of Springfield. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Liebler officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
