

Rosemary A. Buskis, 77, of Springfield, passed away at 3:17 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at St. John's Hospital. Rosemary was born December 6, 1932 in Lincoln, the daughter of Ross and Lavina Krusz Dunlevy. She married Joseph A. Buskis on July 11, 1953 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Springfield; he preceded her in death in 1995. Rosemary was a homemaker and worked at Sangamo Electric for several years. She was of the Catholic faith. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and a son, John A. Buskis. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Barbara) Buskis of Athens and Joseph R. Buskis of Springfield; a daughter, Jolene C. Patrick of Springfield; three brothers, Ross "Todd" (Shirley) Dunlevy and Frank (Delora) Dunlevy of Springfield and Brian (Penny) Dunlevy of Rochester; three sisters, Frances (Herb) Duerr and Dorothy Hamrick of Springfield and Mary Ellen Crawford of Virden; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. Funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702-1766.
