Samantha Elizabeth Brahler

Samantha was born October 2, 1993 in Springfield the daughter of Michael Brahler and Mary Elizabeth Smith.

Samantha was a 5th grade graduate from Lee Elementary School. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: James and Irene Brahler.

She is survived by her mother: Mary Elizabeth Smith of Springfield; father: Michael Brahler of Springfield; grandparents: Dr. Joseph and Janet Smith of Taylorville; aunts: Michele (husband, Jim) Reavy, Denise (husband, Marty) Vespa, Catherine (husband, Trevor Sample), Margaret (husband, Alan) Southard; uncles: Mark (wife, Lisa), David (wife, Elizabeth) Brahler, Michael, Peter (wife, Charlotte), Matthew (wife, Collette), Joseph Smith and many cousins.

Family will receive friends from 3-7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Concelebrated Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 E. Lawrence, Springfield, with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola principal celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
