Sarah E. Hoots, 60, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on June 9, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1963 in Clinton, Illinois to Kenneth Daugherty and Frankie Bewley Daugherty. Sarah married Duane Hoots on August 5, 2014 and he survives.
Mrs. Hoots is also survived by her children: Jeremiah (Amber Parker) Harper of Springfield, Michael (Renae Wagner) Hoots of St. Louis, Megan (Justin) Bowden of Taylorville and Kaitlynne Hoots of Canton, IL., four grandchildren: Delphine and Anora Harper and Ezra and Elliott Bowden, her mother Frankie Daugherty, siblings: Nancy (Chris) Barnett, Naomi Burcham, Frank Daugherty and Mary (Barry) Altevogt and many unlisted nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Sarah was a homemaker, caregiver, musician and a dog groomer. She will be remembered as a selfless, graceful and compassionate Christian who preached the Gospel through music.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday 6-17-2024 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until the time of service Monday at Bisch West.
