Sharlene Nichole Petrea, 37, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 14, 1987 in Taft, CA to David Petrea and Janice Hansen.

Sharlene is survived by her daughter Nichole Petrea of Springfield; and 2 brothers, Robert (husband Shane) Cervantes of Springfield and Christopher Carter of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Janice Hansen.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, Springfield. Cremation rites were accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.

Memorials may be made to the A.P.L. (Animal Protective League), 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702.
