He was born in Los Angeles, CA, February 4, 1961 the son of Frederick and Nadine (Mangis) Moran. His parents preceded him in death.
Steve began his career in technology, before selling his company and joining the Culver’s Restaurant Family. His success with Culver’s led him to Springfield, where he owned and operated a Culver’s franchise, which is the Culver’s on Dirksen Parkway in Springfield. He was a faithful member of Cherry Hills Church.
As busy as Steve was, operating the restaurant, he always found time for his family. His grandchildren were his biggest joy. Steve was proud to have his family involved in the business and teaching his son, Kyle to continue the success of the business they have worked hard to establish.
Surviving are his three children: Kyle (Brooke) Moran, Megan (Jacob) Cisco, both of Springfield, and Katelyn Moran of Waverly, IL, his grandchildren: Hazel and Eden Moran, Jeremiah, Sophie and Peter Cisco, his two sisters; Kathy Clark of Hutto, TX and Sharon Kamus of Plano, TX, and his nieces and nephews: Jerad, Joel, Janaye, Mike, Jeff and Laura.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Cherry Hills Church 2125 Woodside Rd. Springfield, IL beginning at 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am. Pastor Chad Reeser will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
