Sunny K Raines-Holt

Sunny was born on February 24, 1941, in Lafontaine, KS, the daughter of Joseph and Lillian (Smith) Waggoner.

Sunny earned her associate’s degree and went on to build a dedicated career as a paralegal and court reporter, roles she carried out with professionalism and care for many years. She was a proud member of AARP and remained actively engaged in her community. In her personal time, Sunny found joy in crocheting, creating pieces that reflected both her patience and creativity. She also had a deep love for travel, embracing every opportunity to explore new places and experiences.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Tamis Raines Fields who passed in 2021.

Sunny is survived by her husband, Jimmie Holt of Springfield; son in law, Kenny Fields of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Misty (Kelley) Beale of Kevil, KY and Toni (John Watt) Fields of Midway, KY; great grandchildren, Skylar Lee and Dalton Beale of Kevil, KY; step-children, Kim Stout of Murrayville, IL, Richard Holt of Greenfield, IL, Randy Holt of Falling Water, WV, Pamela Spear of Anderson, SC and Jason Michael Holt of Springfield, IL; and several step grandchildren.

Cremation will be provided according to Sunny’s wishes.
