

Treva Lee Iaun, 87, of Springfield, entered her heavenly home on May 29, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Lawrence County, Illinois to Mode and Carrie Powell. She was the youngest of seven siblings who grew up on Allison Prairie. Treva is survived by Ward Iaun her loving husband of 63 years.
Mrs. Iaun is also survived by four children: James (Linda) Iaun of Springfield, Jane (Joseph) Falls of Bradenton, FL., Ted (Jackie) Iaun of Atlanta, GA., and Teri (Robert) Bennett of Bradenton, FL., ten grandchildren: Aaron and Andrew Iaun, Sarah and J.T. Falls, Jill (Michael) McClendon and Josh and Jack Iaun, and Alison (Kyle) Ansbaugh and Gale and Anabelle Bennett and three great-grandchildren: Kynlee, Peyton and Levi McClendon. She was also a doting aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Treva graduated from Lawrenceville High School and earned her nursing diploma from Missouri Baptist University-School of Nursing. She retired from St. John’s Hospital after serving in the surgical recovery room and later the mother/baby unit. Treva was a devout Christian who regularly attended Pawnee Assembly of God. She loved to serve others and bring glory to the Lord.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am on Saturday June 5, 2021 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday June 7, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
